Former Kentucky Wildcat Wenyen Gabriel shared a message about his time at Kentucky earlier this week and all of BBN needs to read it.
Gabriel is grateful for the opportunity he had at Kentucky and he’s even appreciative of the struggles he had.
The former Wildcat has found success since leaving Lexington, starting the first NBA game of his career earlier this season for the Portland Trail Blazers.
Gabriel had a message for the current group of Wildcats.
“I’m forever grateful to have played at Kentucky,” Gabriel wrote on Instagram. “It has been a blessing in my life. From the moments like these (highlights of his career), all the way down to the moments where I felt useless and hopeless. I’ve learned that it’s YOUR responsibility to bring out the best in YOU. The best way to predict your future is to create it. Don’t be anxious young cats — Go make history.”
