The 2018 NBA Draft was a successful one for four Kentucky Wildcats.
Kevin Knox, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Hamidou Diallo all heard their names called on Thursday night. Wenyen Gabriel was the only entry from Kentucky to not be selected.
Gabriel wasn’t expected to be selected but he did have solid workouts with NBA teams. He will now begin his journey to the NBA as an undrafted free agent or he can elect to go the international route.
He doesn’t seem to be letting it bother him. He tweeted the following as soon as the draft ended.
