Wenyen Gabriel Earns Roster Spot with Sacramento Kings

Former Kentucky Wildcat forward Wenyen Gabriel has earned a roster spot in the NBA.

It was reported on Monday that Gabriel has worked his way into an official roster spot with the Sacramento Kings, according to Clevis Murray of The Athletic.

Gabriel was on a two-way contract with the Kings but has converted that to an official roster spot.

The former Wildcat signed with Sacramento as an undrafted free agent in 2018 after spending two seasons at Kentucky.

Proud of Wenyen for beating the odds and working his way to a roster spot. That’s never easy to do in the NBA after going undrafted.
