One thing missing from Kentucky and Eddie Gran’s offense last season was the big play ability in the passing game. After the Wildcats lost deep threat Jeff Badet to Oklahoma, they didn’t really have a guy that could explode down the field and Stephen Johnson’s bad shoulder didn’t help things.
In the video below, a number of things look great. Quarterback Terry Wilson has a clean pocket and delivers a deep ball to Lynn Bowden, who makes a great adjustment to haul in the catch. The ball was off from Wilson but at least he gave Bowden a chance to get it, something that has been missing the last few years.

If that doesn’t get you excited for the spring game and football season, then I’m not sure what will.
