Charlotte Hornets forward PJ Washington is off to a hot start in his rookie season.
At this point, Washington’s talent is no secret to those in the NBA.
The former Kentucky Wildcat has delivered ever since opening night, where he connected on seven three-pointers.
On Tuesday night vs. the Indiana Pacers, Washington showed what he can do at the rim and delivered the first poster dunk of his NBA career.
Washington caught the ball on the right wing, went left and finished a left handed dunk on JaKarr Sampson.
Following the dunk, Washington gave Sampson one of his famous mean mugs.
The play helped spark a Charlotte comeback, as the Hornets won 122-120.
Washington finished the game with 16 points before suffering a lower left leg contusion. The Hornets list him as probable to play in Thursday’s game vs. Boston.
