The Kentucky basketball team continued their first week of summer practices on Thursday.
John Calipari is already feeling good about his team and that’s scary for the rest of college basketball. Even Bruce Pearl had to admit that Calipari liking his team in June is scary.
With the return of PJ Washington and additions of Reid Travis and Ashton Hagans, one name that hasn’t been mentioned lately is Keldon Johnson. The freshman forward could become a fan favorite next season.
I’m not sure what the starting lineup will look like this season but I’m almost certain there will be a spot on the wing for Johnson. He’s long, fast, explosive, and willing to shut people down (RJ Barrett in the McDonald’s game).
The Kentucky Basketball account released a couple videos of Johnson during Thursday’s practice. He literally try’s to rip the rim down.

If you think a dunk in that drill is easy, let former Wildcat Twany Beckham explain.
If people only knew how hard it is to get a dunk in this drill!! Wow https://t.co/ljpIF6caoN
