Vince Marrow is staying at Kentucky, the UK coach announced on Twitter Friday.
After considering a move to Youngstown State to be a head coach, Marrow decided Kentucky is where he wants to be.
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Marrow would’ve been a significant loss for UK football, especially on the recruiting trail.
Marrow arrived at Kentucky along with Mark Stoops in 2013. It’s good to see he is staying to continue the success in Lexington.
He said the following on Twitter.
Hey BBN I love ❤️ and appreciate you guys more than you know! It’s been a pleasure working for UK fans across the country. That said my desire to stay in the Commonwealth is greater than my desire to return to Youngstown and be Head Coach. Thanks for the respect & consideration
