The Kentucky Basketball Twitter Account is on Fire with Commitment Videos
Tyrese Maxey announced his commitment to Kentucky in a video to his Twitter account Wednesday evening.
The video was one of the best things I’ve seen. However, the Kentucky Basketball Twitter video is better. UK tweeted videos for Kentucky’s last three basketball commitments. They can’t specifically recognize a player until they have signed with the university, but the videos are amazing.
Maxey told Go Big Blue Country in Indianapolis that John Calipari compares him to a combo guard like Jamal Murray. Well, it’s only fitting that the video shows a young child watching Kentucky highlights of Murray.
Mongtomery’s video featured Anthony Davis while Hagans’ included John Wall. Both players named those two NBA talents as guys they have modeled their games after. I’m not sure who’s running the Kentucky Basketball Twitter account, but they need to keep it up.
This is becoming an expected thing with commitments, and it will be interesting to see who’s next. The way Calipari is going, who knows what happens next.
