Immanuel Quickley, a five-star point guard and UK target, narrowed his list of schools from four to three on Wednesday night. Entering the night, Quickley’s list consisted of Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, and Miami, but the Terrapins are no longer being considered.
Quickley made the announcement on the 10 p.m. program of Sports Talk on CSN Mid-Atlantic, a nightly show in the D.C. area. The Wildcats are the overwhelming favorite to land Quickley and they receive his final visit the weekend of September 16th.
We are still a few weeks away from a decision, as Quickley plans to visit all three schools remaining on his list. He will visit Kansas the weekend of September 2nd and Miami the weekend of September 9th.
A decision from Quickley should come soon after his three visits are complete and with the buzz around Kentucky, it wouldn’t be a shock if he committed during his visit the weekend of September 16th.
Not newsworthy, as I don’t recall many recruits trimming their lists from four to three, but the Big Blue Nation will take it.
