In case you forgot, Kentucky football ended a 31-game losing streak to the Florida Gators last night in the Swamp.
Head coach Mark Stoops picked up the win he has desperately needed since taking over the program in 2013. With the win, Stoops has now defeated every team in the SEC East besides Georgia.
Kentucky’s 27-16 win in Gainesville was a beautiful sight. Benny Snell and his offensive line steamrolled the Gator defense while Terry Wilson used his versatile skill set to keep Florida off balance.
Following the game Stoops received the Gatorade bath that essentially washed away 31 years of sorrow and pain that most thought would never end.
