2019 Kentucky commit Tyrese Maxey will represent the USA on the U18 men’s basketball team this summer.
Maxey has been in Colorado Springs the last few days at the USA training camp and the final roster was released on Tuesday.
The five-star combo guard was one of 12 players selected to play for Bill Self’s squad. They will begin international play Sunday night
The 6-foot-3 guard will have the opportunity to recruit teammates to join him at Kentucky. Fellow UK target Matthew Hurt made the roster, along with possible UK target Cole Anthony. Maxey has mentioned both names to reporters this summer.
UK targets Jalen Lecque and Keion Brooks did not make the final roster.
