Tyrese Maxey is Staying on Keion Brooks about Choosing Kentucky

Tyrese Maxey Really wants Keion Brooks to Join him at Kentucky

Ever since Tyrese Maxey committed to Kentucky in May, the five-star combo guard has been actively recruiting fellow 2019 recruits to join him at Kentucky next season.

James Wiseman and Cole Anthony are two players that he has mentioned in multiple interviews, but Keion Brooks has been the popular name. Brooks, a five-star forward who holds an offer from Kentucky, recently trimmed his list of schools to ten.

In addition to Kentucky, Brooks listed Michigan, Michigan State, Texas, North Carolina, Indiana, UCLA, Georgetown, Iowa, and Purdue. A native of Fort Wayne, IN., the Hoosiers are doing all they can to keep him home. If Maxey has anything to do with it, Brooks will end up playing alongside him at Kentucky. Maxey made sure to let Brooks hear BBN when he announced his list on Twitter.

Earlier this spring, Brooks told Go Big Blue Country that Maxey is always talking to him about Kentucky and telling him that he’s the next to commit. Brooks is rated the No. 16 overall player in the 2019 class by 247Sports.
