By now, Kentucky fans know freshman guard Tyrese Maxey loves the big stage and he showed it again Tuesday night in Athens.
Early in the second half, Georgia star Anthony Edwards made a spin move on Maxey (looked like an offensive foul) and finished at the rim. Following the play, Edwards told Maxey he was too small. Maxey responded with his play.
The freshman guard turned in his most complete game as a Wildcat, totaling 17 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks and a steal in 39 minutes of action.
Maxey was asked about Edwards calling him too small after the game.
