Tyrese Maxey Listed as a Nike EYBL Regular Season MVP Candidate
The Nike EYBL circuit stops in Hampton, Virginia this weekend for the final session of the regular season.
Kentucky commit Tyrese Maxey is in Hampton with Houston Hoops and he’s looking to close the regular season on a high note. Through the first three sessions, Maxey is averaging 23.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.9 steals per game. Additionally, he’s shooting 50 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the free throw line.

The five-star combo guard from Garland, Texas has put his name in the hat for the 2018 Nike EYBL Regular Season MVP.
Maxey committed to Kentucky back on May 9th and he’s been rocking Kentucky blue ever since. The 6-foot-3 Kentucky bound guard plans to remain in the 2019 class with the goal of recruiting top talent to join him in Lexington.
