John Calipari’s Kentucky team picked up an 85-61 victory vs. the Bahamas National Team on Wednesday, but the UK coach also earned a victory off the floor earlier in the day.
While Calipari was preparing for the teams first game in the Bahamas, five-star small forward Kahlil Whitney announced his commitment to Kentucky. Whitney joins five-star guard Tyrese Maxey and four-star wing Dontaie Allen as members of Kentucky’s 2019 recruiting class.
Both Maxey and Allen were excited to see Whitney choose Kentucky and they had messages for him.
It’s only August, but Calipari is already piecing together another special class.
