Former Kentucky Wildcat Tyler Herro has bragging rights for the first matchup with Devin Booker, the former UK player he modeled his game after.
During the Heat and Suns matchup on Thursday, Herro told teammate Jimmy Butler he wanted to guard Booker.
Herro took on the assignment in the fourth quarter and even picked his pocket, leading to a layup in transition. I’m sure Herro will let Booker hear about that one
After the game, Herro talked about his relationship with Booker and how grateful he is.
