Beisner Creates Non-Profit to Cover Youth Sports Fees in Lexington

Tyler Beisner

A Kentucky football player is raising money to help fund youth sports registration fees for families who need assistance.

Tyler Beisner, a walk-on wide receiver for the Kentucky football team, announced a non-profit he has started with 100-percent of funds going towards paying youth sports registration fees in Fayette County.

Beisner wrote the following on social media Wednesday.

“In 2011, Dexter McCluster hosted a free camp, which is where I played football for the first time. I fell in love, and it changed my life. I’m hoping to give those same blessings to kids in Lexington through a non-profit I’ve created called “Go For It.”

“Go For It will raise money in the community and then use 100% of the funds to pay youth sports registration fees for families who need assistance (non-prospect, grades K-8).”
