Kentucky commit Kahlil Whitney is one of the top prospects in the 2019 class and he’s already impressing former Wildcats.
Whitney committed to Kentucky earlier this week, giving John Calipari his third member of the 2019 class. Whitney joins five-star guard Tyrese Maxey and four-star wing Dontaie Allen.
Former Wildcat Twany Beckham, a member of the 2012 NCAA title team, watched Whitney workout on Thursday. What he saw made him compare Whitney to former teammate and No. 2 overall draft pick, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
