Tim Couch is Back on the College Football Hall of Fame Ballot

The 2019 College Football Hall of Fame ballot was released on Monday and former Kentucky quarterback Tim Couch is a candidate.

 



 

Couch, a native of Hyden, Ky., played three seasons at Kentucky before being selected No. 1 overall in the 1999 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns.

 

A 1998 consensus First Team All-American, Couch set seven NCAA, 14 SEC, and 26 school records during his time in Lexington. He finished fourth in the Heisman voting in 1997 and ninth in 1998. Additionally, he was named the 1998 SEC Player of the Year.
