Three Kentucky Wildcats are in the latest ESPN projections for the 2020 NBA draft, two in the first round.
Freshman guard Tyrese Maxey is the highest Wildcat projected, checking in at No. 8 overall to the Washington Wizards.
Freshman Kahlil Whitney is the other current first round projection from Kentucky, going 24th to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The third player landing in the latest Mock Draft is sophomore Ashton Hagans. The UK point guard is projected No. 55 to the Charlotte Hornets.
If Nick Richards continues his stellar play, he could find his name inside the top 60 in future weeks. There’s still a lot of basketball to be played.
