Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats added a 2021 commitment from three-star safety Jordan Lovett Wednesday morning.
Lovett, the 5th ranked prospect in the state of Kentucky by Rivals, is an explosive piece to the future of Kentucky’s secondary. Are the Wildcats in a good position to land another, and is John Calipari helping?
Four-star safety, Terrion Arnold, tweeted an interesting edit from Kentucky just hours after Lovett announced his commitment to the Wildcats.
Arnold is rated a top 100 player and No. 2 safety in the 247 Sports 2021 player rankings. The four-star safety holds football offers from all the top programs in college football, including Alabama, Florida, and Florida State, among others. He also holds an offer from Kentucky.
The interesting thing about Arnold is he is a dual-sport athlete, and he stars in both. Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, and Illinois have offered.
There’s no official word if Kentucky basketball has had any contact with Arnold, but that edit is from the UK football staff. Could Calipari help Stoops land a talented recruit by letting him walk on to the basketball team if he signs with Kentucky?
