Report: Terrence Clarke Being Recruiting to Play in the G-League

Terrence Clarke

A report surfaced late Tuesday that Kentucky signee Terrence Clarke could be among a group of players choosing to play in the G League, instead of attending college.

Adam Zagoria reported Tuesday night that five-star Jalen Green, who will announce his decision on Thursday, could land a six-figure deal in the NBA G League instead of playing college basketball or playing overseas for a season.

A source told Zagoria that Green could make $250,000 in the G-League and be given his choice of teams to play for.

The Real Sources reported that Clarke and Jalen Suggs are names that are being recruited to play in the G-League. Before you discount the report, they have been spot on with multiple reports in recent weeks.

Reports are that former Kentucky assistant Rod Strickland is leading the charge, trying to convince some of the top incoming freshman in college basketball to skip college and play in the G-League. Matt Jones of KSR mentioned Strickland in his tweet.

If there’s one thing BBN is holding out hope for, it’s this tweet from Clarke earlier Tuesday night.
