Five-star small forward Louis King is doing everything he can to pick up an offer from John Calipari and tonight’s 41-point performance in front of the UK head coach might be enough. King’s AAU club is participating in the Las Vegas Fab 48 Tip-Off Challenge, where John Calipari was in attendance.
Pat Lawless tweeted that John Calipari and Kenny Payne were in attendance to see King and fellow five-star UK target Cameron Reddish.

Rivals ranks King, a 6-7 forward in the 2018 class, the No. 16 player. The elite small forward was a member of Calipari’s U19 USA team, which won bronze earlier this month in the FIBA World Cup. King has been wishing for Calipari to extend an offer for quite some time and following the FIBA World Cup, King hinted to SEC Country’s Kyle Tucker that an offer was close.
If an offer is extended, Kentucky is the frontrunner to land the New Jersey native. Along with Kentucky, King holds offers from the likes of UConn, Indiana, Kansas, Oregon, and Syracuse. The Wildcats own 100% of the predictions in Kings 247Sports Crystal Ball.
