The Kentucky Wildcats picked up their first football commitment of the day, a four-star offensive lineman for the 2020 class.
RJ Adams, the No. 28 offensive guard in the 247 Sports Composite, announced his commitment to Mark Stoops and Kentucky during a ceremony at Woodbridge High School in Woodbridge, Virginia.
While he is rated a three-star in the 247 Sports Composite rankings, Adams is a four-star in the Rivals 2020 rankings.
A one time Penn State commit, Adams de-committed and opened his recruitment after visiting Kentucky for the Florida game in September.
He chose Kentucky over offers from Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Miami, NC State and Tennessee, among others.
Adams is one of three commitments the Wildcats hope to add today. Four-star defensive back Joel Williams and four-star JUCO offensive tackle Jeremy Flax are set to announce later today.
