John Calipari: “Right Before Your Eyes, We’re Becoming a Better Basketball Team”

The Kentucky Wildcats extended their winning streak to three games with an impressive 87-66 win vs. Missouri at Rupp Arena on Saturday. Kentucky played well vs. Alabama and used a strong second half to win at Arkansas earlier in the week but for the first time since the Louisville game, the Wildcats put together a full forty minutes.

Once again, balanced scoring paced Kentucky with five players finishing in double figures, led by Kevin Knox with 21 points. There were concerns that Knox might not play due to Friday’s Yahoo! Sports pay for play scandal release that included Knox but the University of Kentucky found no issues regarding his eligibility.

Jarred Vanderbilt also played his best overall game as a Wildcat, finishing with 11 points and 15 rebounds to record the first double-double of his career. Additionally, Hamidou Diallo had his best game in weeks, finishing with 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting, including 3-0f-3 from the three-point line.

As a team, the Wildcats shot 55 percent from the floor, including a blistering 63 percent from the three-point line.

You can hear everything John Calipari had to say about the win in the video below.
