For those hoping to see Nate Sestina in a Kentucky jersey again next season, it doesn’t sound like it will happen.
A source told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports that the NCAA is unlikely to grant an extra year of eligibility for those who participated in winter sports.
John Calipari said earlier this week that Sestina has informed him he will return to Kentucky if the NCAA allows it.
I get that more than 90-percent of the college basketball season was over, including the entire regular season. However, these are unprecedented times we are experiencing at the moment and the NCAA has an opportunity to do something right for the student athlete. Will they?
