When Mark Stoops spoke at UK Media Day earlier this week, he mentioned that the delay was a NCAA Clearinghouse issue, but they expected Bowden to arrive on campus this week.
Bowden was spotted walking into the UK facility earlier today, but no official report on his status was available at the time. The report of Bowden’s arrival on campus was confirmed when KSTV tweeted out two pictures of the UK freshman this morning.

Bowden has reportedly been on campus this week, but his pending eligibility prevented him from being on campus or at UK practices.
The dynamic athletes’ arrival is good news, as Bowden is considered to be an instant playmaker the moment he steps foot on the field. Coach Mark Stoops and OC Eddie Gran have to be thrilled to have a weapon like Bowden cleared and ready to practice. The longer this situation lingered, the more it affected Bowden’s chances of being an impact player this season.
