Kentucky sophomore forward Reid Travis is expected to miss at least two weeks, as his MRI results confirmed he suffered a sprained right knee. However, there is no other damage to the knee.

Calipari said on his coaches show tonight that he expects Travis to miss at least 7-10 days but this was before MRI results were confirmed. UK is hopeful Travis will be able to return by the SEC Tournament, if not sooner.

This is great news for Travis and Kentucky, as the senior has been instrumental in the Wildcats success this season. E.J. Montgomery and Nick Richards will play a bigger role in his absence.
