John Calipari will have a number of options and lineup combinations this season, but he will also have plenty of experience at each position.
Thanks to the return of PJ Washington, Nick Richards, and Quade Green, along with the addition of graduate transfer Reid Travis, Calipari will have talented leadership to pair with another stellar recruiting class.
Out of the four experienced players, Green’s role is one of the most important. Reason being, he is the only guard on the roster with collegiate experience. As a freshman, Green started 13 of the 34 games he appeared in, averaging 9.3 points, 2.7 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per game.
Recently, Calipari gave his team a few days off from practice. Green traveled home to Philadelphia, but he decided to put in a workout.
