One National Writer Believes Kentucky will Win the SEC East

Despite sitting at home this weekend, the Kentucky Wildcats made strides towards a division championship.

Kentucky entered the bye week ranked second in the division following last Saturday’s 20-14 overtime loss at Texas A&M. The Wildcats control their destiny in the division, but they now have room for error.

Georgia’s 36-16 loss at LSU gives Kentucky room to lose a game and still win the division if they beat the Bulldogs at home on November 3rd. As long as Kentucky wins one of the next two games vs. Vanderbilt and Missouri, the matchup with Georgia will be huge on November 3rd.

Barrett Sallee of CBS Sports believes Kentucky will play Alabama for the SEC Championship the first Saturday in December.
