Kentucky forward Nate Sestina reached a career milestone during the first half vs. LSU in Baton Rouge Tuesday night.
On a play late in the first half, Sestina scored a basket in transition to eclipse the 1,000 point mark in his college career (Bucknell and Kentucky).
The senior had one of his best efforts of the SEC schedule in the first half, despite only knocking down 1-of-5 shot attempts.
With E.J. Montgomery on the bench for most of the first half with two fouls, Sestina gave Kentucky twelve minutes off the bench and led the team with five rebounds.
Kentucky leads LSU 29-28 at the half. Check back for postgame coverage following the game.
