Report: Michigan State Extends Second Offer to Marrow

Vince Marrow

Big Blue Nation deserves goods news on Valentine’s Day, but will they get it?

Matt Jones of Kentucky Sports Radio reports that Michigan State has extended a second higher offer for Vince Marrow to leave the UK program for East Lansing.

Jones adds a decision is expected today.

Unlike the Youngstown State decision a few weeks ago, this one will come down to what Marrow truly wants to do because the money is there.

With the recent success the Wildcats have had, it’s important for Mark Stoops to hold onto Marrow.

Losing Marrow to a head coaching position in a few years is significantly different than losing him to an assistant position at a program UK consistently battles on the recruiting trail.

Will he stay or will he go?

It is my opinion and hopes that Coach Marrow stays here with UK. With his help, Kentucky has become a winning program. But if Coach stays. It will become a Championship Caliber Team.

The SEC is loaded with great teams, winning a national championship is the goal of every team. Kentucky is getting better and better. Looking at a SEC Championship first. Then if God willing, a National Championship.
