Former Kentucky Wildcat Malik Monk made a huge mistake that could’ve resulted in the Charlotte Hornets losing a close game Wednesday night.
When teammate Jeremy Lamb knocked down a go-ahead three-pointer with 0.3 seconds remaining in the game; Monk ran onto the court while play was still going on. The play resulted in the Detroit Pistons receiving a technical free throw and a smack to the back of the head for Monk from Hornets owner Michael Jordan.
Thankfully, the Hornets were able to hang on for a 108-107 victory and Monk can laugh about it. You can check it out in the video below.
