Dropped passes, missed field goals and poor red zone execution derailed any chance Kentucky had at picking up a win at Mississippi State, as the Wildcats moved to 2-2 (0-2 SEC) on the season.

After three promising plays to begin the first drive of the game, Sawyer Smith threw an interception on the fourth play. The result was a 52-yard return for a touchdown and the Wildcats never could completely recover.

Mark Stoops took to the podium after the game to discuss that play and everything else that happened in the Wildcats 28-13 loss in Starkville.
