Lynn Bowden Jr. Named Co-SEC Offensive Player of the Week

Kentucky junior athlete Lynn Bowden Jr. has been named Co-SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Wildcats win vs. Missouri.

Bowden rushed for a career high and SEC best 204 yards in Kentucky’s win, finding the end zone twice.

In his third start at quarterback, Bowden accounted for 258 yards of total offense vs. the Tigers. He became the seventh player in Kentucky history to rush for 200 yards in a game. Bowden currently leads the SEC in all-purpose yardage.

Bowden shares the weekly honor with Tennessee’s Jauan Jennings, who hauled in a career-high 172 yards receiving and two touchdowns in the Vols win vs. South Carolina.
