By now, you have probably heard someone broke into Lynn Bowden’s car before Tuesday’s Belk Bowl against Virginia Tech.
Everything in Bowden’s car was stolen, including items belonging to his son and everything he purchased during the Belk Bowl shopping spree event last week.
Bowden used the incident to fuel his performance in Kentucky’s 37-30 win, where he totaled 233 rushing yards and threw the game winning touchdown pass with 15 seconds remaining.
The Belk Bowl is going to allow Bowden to redo the shopping spree to replace the items that were stolen.
