Louisville Football Shows their Respect for Jared Lorenzen

The state of Kentucky lost a legend on Wednesday when former Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen passed away. He was 38 years old.

Since the news of his passing broke, former teammates, coaches and those that knew him best have shared messages about one of the most beloved college football players to ever take the field.

The thing about Jared is it wasn’t just his teammates and coaches that respected and loved him. He was loved by all, including his rivals.

The University of Louisville football Twitter account passed along their condolences to the Lorenzen family and Big Blue Nation.

We might be on different sides of the rivalry but we are all Kentucky.
