Look: The Late Night didn’t Stop Maxey and Hagans this Morning

The Kentucky Wildcats picked up a win vs. No. 1 Michigan State Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.

Freshman guard Tyrese Maxey didn’t take long to arrive on the national scene, dropping 26 points in his first collegiate game. The 26 points are the most points in a debut by a freshman in Kentucky basketball history.

Maxey and teammate Ashton Hagans were sitting at a podium at Madison Square Garden at 1 a.m. ET. Wednesday morning and the team plane didn’t land in Lexington until after 4 a.m. ET.

The late night didn’t stop the two from walking to their 9 a.m. class.

But everyone try’s to say Kentucky is ruining college basketball and these kids don’t care. Try again.
