Joe Lunardi released his latest bracket update Friday morning and the Kentucky Wildcats are a projected No. 3 seed in the field of 68.
The best news is Lunardi has the Wildcats in the Midwest region which will be played close to Lexington in Indianapolis, Indiana.
According to Lunardi’s projection, Kentucky would stay close to Lexington the entire time. He has the Wildcats playing first round games in Cleveland, OH., only a 5-hour drive from Lexington.
If Lunardi is correct with his top four teams in the region, Kentucky and Duke could matchup in the Sweet Sixteen in Indianapolis.
