Kentucky redshirt junior Landon Young has been named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his week two performance vs. Eastern Michigan. Kentucky defeated Eastern Michigan 38-17 at Kroger Field.
Young graded 91 percent in Kentucky’s victory vs. Eastern Michigan, leading the team with seven knockdown blocks and 24 blocks at the point of attack.
Young is the first Kentucky player to earn a weekly honor from the SEC this season.
Kentucky returns to action vs. Florida at Kroger Field on Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET. Coverage will air on ESPN.
