Kentucky appears to have moved on from KyKy Tandy

KyKy Tandy hasn’t Heard from Kentucky Since his Fathers Comments about Calipari

Kentucky fans love to see in-state talent earn scholarship offers from John Calipari, but it appears one recruit might be out of the mix.

Four-star guard KyKy Tandy is no longer hearing from Kentucky, according to Chris Fisher of 247Sports. He says he hasn’t heard from Kentucky since his father made comments about John Calipari. In fact, I was told the same thing earlier this week.

Earlier this spring, Tandy’s father told Kyle Tucker that, “if he does get an offer, he’s not going to Kentucky with three or four point guards there. He’s no bench player. And that’s what they think he is: He’ll just come in and play four years. No, no.”

That said, Pendleton County star Dontaie Allen visited Kentucky last weekend and I met with him for an interview earlier this week. I will have story published about him first thing Friday morning.
