The honors continue to pour in for Kevin Knox and Hamidou Diallo. Today, the league announced that both were selected for the preseason All-Southeastern Conference teams by the league’s 14 head coaches.

Knox, a first-team selection, led the Wildcats in scoring during the exhibition schedule with 19.3 points per game, in addition to 6.3 rebounds per game. ESPN, Scout, and Rivals rated the former five-star the No. 10 prospect in the 2017 class.

Joining Knox on the All-SEC first team was Florida’s KeVaughn Allen, Georgia’s Yante Maten, Ole Miss’ Deandre Burnett, Mississippi State’s Quinndary Weatherspoon, Missouri’s Michael Porter, Jr., Texas A&M’s Tyler Davis and Robert Williams and Vanderbilt’s Matthew Fisher-Davis.

In addition to Knox, Diallo was also selected to the second team by the league coaches. The 6-5 guard was a top 10 prospect out of high school with 247 Sports and Scout listing him as the No. 1 shooting guard in the 2017 class.

Alabama’s Braxton Key and Collin Sexton, Arkansas’s Jaylen Barford and Daryl Macon, Auburn’s Mustapha Heron, Florida’s Chris Chiozza, Ole Miss’ Terence Davis, South Carolina’s Chris Silva, and Tennessee’s Grant Williams join Diallo on the All-SEC second team.

Both players were also selected preseason All-SEC by the league’s media members. However, Diallo was a first-team selection and Knox a second-team.

The Wildcats get the season started tonight vs. Utah Valley at Rupp Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.
