Alabama Guard Kira Lewis will Visit Kentucky in June

Kira Lewis has scheduled a visit to Kentucky during the month of June.

Lewis, a 6-foot-3 guard from Hazel Green (AL.), will visit Kentucky on June 10th, according to Jake Weingarten. Lewis is rated a four-star recruit in the 2019 class, and recently moved to No. 24 overall in the 247Sports rankings.

Following the first session of the Nike EYBL, assistant coach Kenny Payne told Lewis that UK would be monitoring his progression throughout the summer. He’s currently one of the top scorers on the Nike circuit with an average of 21.3 points per game.

“He (Kenny Payne) said he’s going to start picking up on me after last session,” Lewis told Go Big Blue Country in April. “He said I was a great point guard, quick, and that I remind them of guards they have had in the past.”

Kentucky is yet to extend an offer, but don’t be surprised if he picks one up on his visit in June. Lewis recently picked up an offer from Kansas and he already holds offers from Baylor, Clemson, Connecticut, Indiana, and Kansas. Additionally, he holds seven SEC offers. Alabama currently holds the lead in his 247Sports Crystal Ball.
