Kevin Knox Lands at No. 9 with the New York Knicks

Former Kentucky forward Kevin Knox watched his childhood dream become a reality on Thursday night. The New York Knicks selected Knox with the N0. 9 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the first Kentucky player to come off the board.

 

The Tampa, Florida native led Kentucky in scoring during the 2017-18 season with 15.5 points per game. Knox also contributed 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. Overall, he reached double figures in 30 games, including 10 games of 20 or more points.

 



 

Knox finished his Kentucky career with 576 points, the eighth most by a freshman. Additionally, he finished 13th in rebounds by a freshman with 200.
