Report: John Calipari hasn’t Met with Kerry Blackshear

Reports surfaced on Monday that John Calipari completed a visit with the parents of Virginia Tech graduate transfer Kerry Blackshear.

Corey Evans of Rivals reported the following.

Kentucky’s John Calipari completed an in-home visit today with the parents of Virginia Tech transfer big man Kerry Blackshear Jr, a source tells @Rivals @RowlandRIVALS

However, it appears the Blackshear’s and Calipari haven’t met but the plan is to do so soon. In fact, Adam Zagoria says a date is currently being planned.

FWIW, Kerry Blackshear Sr. told me just now he did not meet with John Calipari today. "That wasn't the case."

He said they're working on a date. "We're trying to figure that out right now as we speak.'
