Kentucky Ranked No. 73 in Paul Myerberg’s USA Today Sports Rankings
Paul Myerberg of USA Today Sports isn’t making many UK football friends with his latest ranking of college football teams for the upcoming 2018 season.
Myerberg released his entire rankings on Monday, ranking every team from 1-130. The Wildcats come in at No. 73, ahead of only Ole Miss (76) and Vanderbilt (83) out of SEC teams.
The Wildcats rank ahead of Vanderbilt and Central Michigan (107) among teams on the schedule, but even half of the non-conference opponents rank higher. Middle Tennessee State, one of Kentucky’s non-conference opponents, is ranked No. 64. ESPN already doesn’t like Kentucky’s chances of reaching a third straight bowl game.
