Kentucky is in the Top Ten of the First College Football Playoff Rankings

Show of hands and don’t worry if you can’t raise yours. Did you believe you would ever see Kentucky included in the College Football Playoff rankings?

 

I’d like to say I believed but it had been more than a decade since Kentucky was ranked in the top 25 of any college football poll. However, it’s happened and the Wildcats are among the best in college football.

 



 

Prior to Kentucky’s monster matchup with Georgia that will decide the SEC East, the Wildcats sit at No. 9 in the first College Football Playoff rankings, one spot ahead of Ohio State.
