Kentucky Dismisses Safety Marcus Walker Following Arrest on Drug Charges

Kentucky safety Marcus Walker has been dismissed from the team, head coach Mark Stoops announced on Tuesday. No comment from Stoops was given.

Walker was arrested last Thursday in Lexington on multiple drug trafficking and drug paraphernalia charges.

Allegedly, the junior was trafficking more than five pounds of marijuana and four or more grams of cocaine. While searching his home, police found a large amount of cash.

Walker, a former four-star prospect, was primarily a special teams player during his first two seasons.
