The Kentucky Wildcats picked up a much needed win vs. Arkansas last week, increasing their chances of reaching a fourth consecutive bowl game under Mark Stoops.
Despite the injuries and inexperience across key positions, the Wildcats are 3-3 through the first six games of the 2019 season. Probably not what Stoops and Kentucky fans expected, but with the unfortunate injuries the team suffered at the quarterback position, a .500 record with winnable games to close the season isn’t a bad position to be in.
Kentucky has six games remaining in 2019. Four of those will be played at Kroger Field where the Wildcats have won 9 of their last 11 games played (losses to Georgia in 2018 and Florida in 2019).
Following the results of week 7, national outlets updated their bowl projections and Kentucky is projected to be playing football in late December.
