Kentucky football’s Citrus Bowl victory was one of the biggest days in program history and numbers back that up.
When TV numbers were released, the Citrus Bowl ratings were near the top.
The matchup between Kentucky and Penn State had a 4.4 rating and 7.71 million viewers on ABC during New Year’s Day. Outside of the New Year’s Six games, the Citrus Bowl was the most watched bowl game.
Big Blue Nation flooded Orlando with blue and white all week while the rest of BBN watched from home. Don’t ever let someone tell you Kentucky fans don’t care about football.
